Lemmy

"Lemmy" Kilmister singer, songwriter, and musician, best known as the founder, lead singer, bassist, and primary songwriter of the rock band Motörhead.

Lemmy's music was one of the foundations of the heavy metal genre, and of course, he did the vocals on "Sliver Machine" one of my all-time favourite records with Hawkwind.

Originally his band was called Bastard, but he changed it to Motorhead, US slang for someone who takes speed and also the title of the last song he had penned for Hawkwind.
